Tiny Cube Project _ Floor Plan transformation of a 30sqm apartment
The lack of storage space in both the kitchen and the bedroom, as well as the initially uncomfortable layout of the bathroom, led the design to a radical change . The apartment was treated as a clean rectangle floor plan, with a cubic entity in the middle. This cube defined a clear circulation around it, distinctly outlining three zones: the kitchen, a dressing hall with storage space, and the bedroom. The kitchen gains more countertop workspace and storage, and gets fully equipped with all the necessary appliances. The dressing hall becomes a comfortable semi private space with lot of storage. In the bedroom area, a study desk and a multipurpose bench make the most of the space. The bathroom receives a new layout with a comfortable shower and a large washbasin countertop.
